Castle of Ricaud - Dourthe - Loupiac 2013
On the clay-limestone soils of Ricaud, the vine has found its balance despite the water variations imposed by the capricious and often excessive weather of 2013, which left no respite in the vines. The Sémillon, whose volume has been greatly reduced by the bad weather conditions on the flower, has been the subject of particularly meticulous care, in order to promote maturation in the best possible conditions. The September weather allowed a good development of noble rot, and were harvested from September 27, in 4 drastic tries, perfectly botrytised grapes.
