The Château Mont-Pérat Blanc 2014 did not deliver the complexity that I anticipated on the nose, with faint peachy scents emerging with aeration. The palate is fresh on the entry with lime, gooseberry and kiwi fruit, slightly lower acidity than its peers but with good weight on the rounded finish. Fine.

A beautiful white by Mont-Perat that is as good or sometimes even better than their whites. The wines are intense with great mid-palate concentration and depth with excellent length. Layered and precise rather than overt and fruity, this is a classy white at great value - retailing for less than 15 euros per bottle.
