The 2020 Brown has a flamboyant nose with quite plush red fruit mixed with espresso and brown spice notes, just conveying a bit too much of the winemaking. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity, but there is some hardness on the finish that cuts away too swiftly compared to its peers.

Dark fruits with spiced chocolate, licorice, black olives and wet earth. Full-bodied with a nice grip of ripe, juicy tannins and a velvety texture. Succulent and vivid yet firm and structured. Polished finish with notes of crushed stones. Try from 2025.

Fruits noirs avec chocolat épicé, réglisse, olives noires et terre humide. Corsé, avec une belle prise de tannins mûrs et juteux et une texture veloutée.  Succulent et vif, mais ferme et structuré. Finale raffinée avec des notes de pierres concassées. A essayer à partir de 2025.

The 2020 Château Brown shows nicely, with a rich, medium to full-bodied, nicely textured style as well as impressive purity in its darker fruits and notes of spice, tobacco, and earth. It has the fruit and texture to drink nicely in its youth yet also evolve for 10-15 years.

This wine shows the structure that will stand in good stead as it develops made from Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Its dark tannins march with the developing black currant fruits.

Nous avons trouvé là un beau vin, plein. Le nez nous emmène sur le bourgeon de cassis. La bouche révèle un jolie fruit, sur une matière noble et pleine, avec un beau volume. De la tonicité et de la densité aussi. L'équilibre est là, entre fraîcheur et fruité. Une belle gestion du millésime.

This is really polished and pretty with blackberry, iodine, chocolate and spice. It’s full-bodied, layered and so attractive. 64% cabernet sauvignon, 34% merlot and 2% petit verdot.
