The 2021 Château Bellevue showed lots of wood and grippy tannins, although it has good fruit as well as notes of cassis and graphite. There's solid mid-palate depth here as well, but it has some oak to integrate for this to come together and not be over-oaked.

This is showing pretty notes of oranges, plums, violets and red currants. Fresh and fruity with a medium body, fine tannins and clean, easy finish. Drink now.

Thanks to the terroir of the clay-limestone highlands, Bellevue is able to show better ripeness than expected in the vintage of 2021. The fragrance of ripe and mushy blueberry and mulberry are the proof. I really love the intensity on the palate that is brought by this 100% Merlot. Ziemlich dichtes Purpur. Kühle, rauchige Nase, dunkle Brombeerfrucht, florale Töne, mineralische Untertöne. Im Gaumen ziemlich dicht, der Wein zeigt ein gute Konzentration, die Tannine sind von guter Qualität, die Säure wirkt gut eingebunden. Im Abgang mit roter Frucht und guter Länge, endet sehr steinig. Etwas karger als auch schon, jedoch mit Finesse. 2026-2040+ (Verkostet im April 2022. AGCCSE/Château Dassault)

Prise de bois un peu imposante avec des notes de framboise, de fruits frais et d'épices. L'entrée de bouche est tendue, plus droite mais les tanins structurants viennent serrer en finale. A revoir après les élevages.
