Along with the 1989, the 1986 is the finest wine I have ever tasted from this property. It has an amazing level of smoky oak and dazzling quantities of fruit. A very powerful, full-bodied, rich wine, with an impressive black/ruby color, it has an undeniably seductive, even sexy, bouquet, and a lush, opulent texture. Anticipated maturity: Now-2005.
