People always talk about the great new vintages of Troplong and forget about wines such as this, with a good, dark ruby color and an array of aromas from blackberry to milk chocolate. Medium-bodied, with full, velvety tannins and a superfruity and caressing finish. Will improve with age.--1988 Bordeaux horizontal. Best from 2000 through 2006.
