The Wine Palate

The 2023 Sigalas-Rabaud, 100% Sémillon, has 140 g/l of residual sugar. Pale lemon-straw in color, it waltzes out with gregarious notions of pineapple upside-down cake, lemon meringue pie, and honeysuckle, giving way to fragrant wafts of jasmine tea, lemongrass, and fresh ginger. The palate is beautifully balanced, with bags of freshness lifting the intense citrus and tropical fruit layers, finishing on a lingering gingery note.
