Vinous

The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino is deeply satisfying, with vivid black cherry aromas and complementary notes of cedar dust, camphor and ground cloves. Juicy acidity lends the palate an energetic radiance, as ripe red fruits give way to sweet tannins and a licorice tinge. The 2019 tapers off perfumed and delicate, structured but remarkably fresh with a sweet herbal resonance. Pian delle Querci's northeastern vineyards have delivered a graceful interpretation of Montalcino terroir.
