While the greatest Chablis I have ever tasted have a singularity and persistence about them that typifies their single vineyard origins, this blended wine seems like a, some might say, heretical amalgam of all seven Grands Crus. It is expansive and resonant, pulsing with spectacular fruit. I know many will prefer more expressive wines for the first three or four years of their lives, but from the turn of the decade, Yattarna will glide away into the sunset!
