Feine Holznuancen verschmelzen mit einladenden Noten von dunklen Beeren und Eukalyptus. Der Abgang verlangt nach mehr aromatischem Ausdruck, aber der Wein ist nicht weniger präzise und elegant.

Bright and vibrant, subtle grilled oak, the tannins exert an extremely light hand over the plum raspberry fruits, this is good easy drinking, and good value also. Thibault Despagne, 3.7ph, 40ha.

The 2023 Mont-Pérat has a tightly knit bouquet with graphite-tinged black fruit, quite earthy in style with a touch of dried blood. The palate is medium-bodied with brittle tannins and fine acidity, though the finish feels a bit dry and needs more flesh.
