Very good depth from this vintage, showing berries, minerals and a hint of cocoa powder and white pepper. Juicy and medium- to full-bodied with taut, quality tannins and a linear finish.

Tiefdunkel, im Kern fast Schwarz; floral im Duft, mit viel Mineralik, weisser Pfeffer über Himbeeren, Cassis, viel Tiefgang; dichter Gaumen, fokussiert, mit einer eindrücklichen Struktur, die Tannine sind einmal mehr von höchster Güte, saftige Frucht, grossartige Säure, voller Spannung und Energie, aromatisch von grosser Länge, salines Finish. Ein grossartiger Mangot, der für eine kleine Ewigkeit gebaut ist. Wer das nicht in seinem Keller hat, wird es in 20 Jahren bereuen.

Groseille, cassis, myrtille... L'univers aromatique est passionnant à ce stade, avec un fruité éclatant. La bouche de belle concentration est sertie d'une trame tannique serrée, qui gagnera en finesse et en délié à l'élevage. Un vin d'une grande sincérité à l'image des derniers millésimes.

The 2024 Mangot feels a little introverted on the nose, only gradually unfurling with light minty red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, decent mid-palate concentration and gentle grip on the lightly spiced finish. This has a bit more length than its peers and should age well in bottle.
