I liked the 2021 Haut-Médoc, a pretty, medium-bodied, elegant Haut-Médoc with quality fruit, some subtle rose petal and floral nuances, soft tannins, and a good finish.

The 2021 Haut-Médoc Giscours comes from parcels between the estate and Cantemerle and sees around 10–15% new oak. It offers gravel-tinged red fruit on the nose, and a touch of orange blossom comes though with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins on the entry and light red fruit. A little austere toward the finish, but with adequate freshness. Fine.

The 2021 Haut-Médoc de Giscours is vibrant, punchy and super-expressive. Blood orange, sage, rose petal and white pepper lend terrific savory aromatic presence to a core of bright red cherry and plum fruit. This mid-weight, classy Haut-Médoc is a charmer.

A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon and 39% Merlot, the 2021 Haut-Médoc de Giscours offers up aromas of dark berries, woodsmoke and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and nicely balanced palate, with powdery tannins and tangy acids. It's the textbook example of a wine with a rather low pH that gets underestimated en primeur but then surprises consumers very positively in bottle.

Really bright strawberry and red cherry fruit, smells so fresh and approachable already. Soft fruit notes are accented by bramble touches and raspberry leaf. Super bright and energetic, it’s light and unfussy, streamlined and quite linear with fresh fruits, all red berries and a vein of chalky mintiness. Can't fault this for approachability though this is showing nice structure and that Cabernet freshness and strength. Second vintage shown en primeur.
