The marriage of adorable floral notes and stable crushed berries is pretty enticing; some tingling spicy notes ignite the aromas’ profile, bringing a dynamic rhythm. The attack is clear and precise, coupled with creamy-textured tannins, which is relatively uncommonin the previous vintages of Fleur de Pédesclaux.

Attractive black and blue fruits, chocolate, graphite, and a kiss of minerality emerge from the 2020 Fleur De Pédesclaux, which is the second wine of Château Pédesclaux. A balanced, medium-bodied effort, it has ripe tannins and rock-solid concentration, especially for a second wine.

The 2020 Fleur de Pédesclaux has a clean, pure blackberry, raspberry preserve and blueberry nose that is commendable for a Deuxième Vin. The medium-bodied palate offers slightly chewy tannins on the entry. A solid Pauillac with good weight, if missing a bit of elegance on the finish.

The 2020 Fleur de Pedesclaux sports a deep garnet-purple color and uncomplicated notes of kirsch, ripe black plums and mulberries, plus hints of bouquet garni and tobacco leaf. The medium-bodied palate is lively and delicately styled, featuring crunchy red and black fruits with a slight chewiness to the texture and an herbal lift on the finish.

Lots of crushed stones and blackcurrants with some flowers. Medium-to full-bodied with bitter-chocolate, coffee and dark-berry character. Slightly smoky. Flavorful and juicy. 50% cabernet sauvignon, 48% merlot, the rest petit verdot. Second wine.
