The 2018 La Fleur de Gay is a fruity, supple Pomerol that will drink well with minimal cellaring. Dark cherry, mocha, cedar, tobacco, licorice and menthol add lovely aromatic nuance as this pretty, silky Pomerol develops in the glass.

The deep ruby/purple-hued 2018 Château La Fleur De Gay is another sweetly fruited, sexy, yet also elegant Pomerol that does everything right. Possessing a rockingly good bouquet of smoky black fruits, cassis, toasted spice, and jam-covered toast, it’s medium to full-bodied, balanced, and has a terrific mouthfeel and finish.

No effort is needed to detect the flowers, plum and licorice packed perfume. Dark in color with lush, silky, textured fruit, the finish with its chocolate covered black raspberry and dark cherry hits all the right notes.
