Château Feytit-Clinet 2022 is truly a beauty! Its soft, pinkish skin and serene, sweet smile make my heart bloom with joy! During En Primeur, it had many roasted notes, but after bottling, it revealed a fresh and sweet fruit aroma. Look, the black mulberries, black plums, and black currants coming toward me are so ripe, and the peony fragrance surrounding them is so delicate. The soft, supple wine hides fine tannins, wrapping around you like a warm embrace, big and comforting, making it hard to say goodbye. The mouthfeel after bottling is even more relaxed and delightful than En Primeur tasting, and with some aging, it will only become more stunning!

One of the more powerful wines in the vintage, the 2022 Château Feytit Clinet brings an almost Petrus-like structure and density as well as a stunning nose of ripe red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with leafy herbs, chocolate, tobacco, and truffles. With full-bodied richness, a deep, layered mid-palate, nicely integrated smoky oak, and a blockbuster of a finish, this brilliant wine should be snatched up by savvy readers. It will ideally be given 4-6 years in the cellar, but you'll be excused for opening bottles now. It should cruise for two decades, if not longer. The 2022 is 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc, from the Clinet, Latour, and Feytit lieux-dits, aged in 70% new barrels. It hit 14.5% alcohol with a solid pH of 3.75.

The 2022 Feytit-Clinet has a beautiful bouquet with blackcurrant, wild strawberry, cedar and black truffle scents emerging with time alongside a violet aroma. The palate is medium-bodied and harmonious with finely chiseled tannins, crisp acidity and just a simulacrum of black chocolate toward the finish. It needs time, but the energy emanating from this young Pomerol is palpable. This is exquisite.

Blackberries, black beans, black olives and dried flowers on the nose. Walnuts and hints of cedar, too. It’s full-bodied, creamy and seamless, with ripe and fine tannins accompanying the succulent black fruit. Long and delicious. Drink from 2027.

The 2022 Feytit-Clinet is dark, pliant and expressive. Dark red fruit, blood orange, spice, cedar, new leather and a kiss of French oak all build in the glass. The 2022 shows all the natural richness that is typical of Feytit-Clinet, but with brighter fruit, more freshness and less barrel toast impact that was once the norm. This opens beautifully over time, offering a captivating interplay of finesse and power.

Smooth and seductive with ripe red berry fruit alongside floral touches and liquorice and cola edged tannins. Feels well worked, not too over extracted with detail and a gentle ease to this. Maybe lacks a touch of vibrancy but good power and concentration.

Château Feytit-Clinet 2022 is a real beauty in the making! Her pink and delicate skin and sweet and serene smile make my heart sing! Although there are still many toasty flavors during the En Primeurs phase, the rich aromas of black mulberry, black plum, blackcurrant, and peony are still satisfying. The soft and chewy wine hides delicate tannins, which are like arms that embrace you, spacious and warm... If it gains more complexity after aging, it will surely become even more desirable!

The 2022 Feytit-Clinet, Pomerol's 'dark horse', is very perfumed on the nose with crushed violets and black plummy scents. Again, there's impressive delineation and, considering the season, delicacy. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and good depth. Cedar and graphite notes appear toward the finish. Fine length, this is Feytit back in form after the 2021.

Excellent appellation signature, great balance, real depth of flavour, and while there are a ton of tannins here, they are smooth and integrated, concentrated but this is a serious wine, with serious ageing potential, and it's absolutely one to look out, damson and black cherry fruit abound, with cocoa bean and incense notes, a buy. 70% new oak.

En bouche le vin se distingue par ses tannins, parfaitement intégrés. Ils offrent de la stature et du potentiel. Un vin riche, généreux et charmant.

I continue to absolutely love the wines from Jeremy Chasseuil’s tiny estate located in the heart of Pomerol. His 2022 Château Feytit-Clinet checks in as 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc, pulled from 60% of the production, and it sports a dense purple hue to go with a decadent, powerful, full-bodied style in its darker currants, tobacco, chocolate, and graphite-driven aromas and flavors. The tannins are substantial yet ripe and integrated, and it has a great mid-palate and outstanding length.

Deep, rich, purple in hue, the wine is packed with black plums, flowers, cloves, cinnamon, cherries, apple blossoms, smoke, and licorice in the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine shows off its sensuous, silky wealth of plums, cherries, and chocolate form the initial sip. Concentrated, rich, and creamy, with vibrancy, length and suppleness, this is a gorgeous expression of Feytit-Clinet. The wine blends 90% Merlot with 10% Cabernet Franc. 14.9% ABV, 3.75 pH. The harvest took place September 5 - September 27. The yields were 33 hectoliters per hectare. This is the finest vintage of Feytit Clinet produced yet. Drink from 2026-2050.
