A blend of 66% Sauvignon Blanc and 34% Sémillon, the white 2023 Le Comte de Malartic gives up subtle notes of fresh pears and lime zest, with touches of chalk dust and white pepper. The light to medium-bodied palate is just a little thin, with appealing freshness and a savory finish.

A solid, enjoyable white and the second wine of the château, the 2023 Comte De Malartic Blanc is slightly broader and richer, with stone fruit, melon, and orange blossom nuances on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a layered mouthfeel and moderate acidity and finishes cleanly. Drink bottles over the coming couple of years. Drink 2026-2028.
