Grassy, elderflower, ripe and crisp green apples and lots of pear drops - really quite fragrant in that sense, banana, quince, very exotic and tropical on the nose. Quite tropical on the palate too, a richness in the weight and density, a little bit light save for the shot of lemon in the middle. Needs some time really. Lacks a bit of vibrancy but what’s there is well worked. 25% New oak barrels.

The 2022 Clos Marsalette Blanc is made up of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon. It is aging in 25% new oak. It skips out with cheery notes of fresh yellow apples and juicy pears with underlying hints of allspice, white pepper, and chalk dust. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is bright and refreshing with a chalky finish.

The 2022 Clos Marsalette Blanc was picked on 14 and 15 September at 45hL/ha and matured in 25% new oak. It has a pretty, aromatic bouquet with white peach, apricot and guava touches emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with wild peach and grapefruit. There's a fine balance with a lively finish. This is a delicious white that will be difficult to resist.

Bright, intense, rich and silky, needs lift. Sweet shots of intense pink grapefruit and citrus, with edges of candyfloss. Sand-gravel soils that were challenging in the vintage, and here the white harvest was September 14 to 15 due to vines blocking in the heat. 45hl/h yield, 25% new oak.
