The 2014 Marjosse Blanc is a fabulous wine in its price range. Mint, tomato leaf, sage, white pear and jasmine open in a fresh, invigorating wine. Clean and bracing in style, with plenty of Sauvignon Blanc character, the 2014 offers a lovely, nuanced expression and tons of personality. This is a strong showing from proprietor Pierre Lurton and Marjosse.

Grapefruit and lemon wax, with a fresh, sweet, lively character that refreshes with its lemon accent. This is the perfect, easy drinking, summer wine. 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 45% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle. 87 Pts

I prefer the white version of Château Marjosse Blanc 2014 to the red this year. It has a crisp kiwi fruit and gooseberry-scented nose, light citrus scents following after. The palate is simple but balanced with primal grapefruit notes on the mid-palate, but perhaps it would have benefited from more depth on the finish.

Lively and fresh with nice mid-palate density and depth for a petit chateau. Crafted to be enjoyed young and fresh with precise flavors, this is another good vintage (2013 was very good too) at Marjosse. Owned by Pierre Lurton, this is one of the best value whites from Bordeaux priced below 10 euros per bottle.

Plenty of lime and mineral character with hints of sliced apples. Full body, tangy finish. Drink now. One of the best whites from here in a long time.
