Purpur mit Granatschimmer am Rand. Intensives Bouquet mit Cassisdrops und Himbeergelee, dahinter Schattenmorellensaft. Im mittleren Gaumen mit feinsandigem Tannin und roten Kirschen im Rückaroma, hat seine Balance bereits gefunden.

The 2014 Château la Garricq offers attractive blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose, the oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannin and this just feels a little attenuated towards the finish when I would be looking for more depth.

Tight and focused with blackberry, blueberry and mineral character. Medium-to full-bodied and chewy on the finish. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of this one in barrel.
