The 2008 Cote Rotie La Turque is more Burgundian than Cote Rotie-ish in this particular vintage. Much lighter than normal, but still attractive, it exhibits vanillin, roasted herb, black currant and Asian spice notes in a dark plum/ruby, evolved style. It requires consumption over the next 7-8 years. Drink: 2012 - 2020
