A generous nature! The vegetative cycle (whether bud break, flowering or ripening) was particularly fast and homogeneous with very favorable climatic conditions during flowering. As a result, we had a good fruit set rate, which allowed us to obtain comfortable yields at the end of the cycle, which had not happened for more than a decade. It must be recognized that nature has been particularly generous. The summer was marked by a slight water stress of the vine, but without excess. September was also perfect, without excessive heat but with very nice sunshine as well as cool nights over the last few weeks. It was a long maturation period, which is usually the secret of great vintages! "The blend of this vintage is composed of 60% CS and 40% Merlot. The latter are very fresh, both dense and coated. CSs are simply beautiful, very elegant and very subtle. "
