The Dragon - Riesling 2014 - Josmeyer
Meyer House was created in 1854 by Aloyse Meyer. In 1963, Hubert Meyer decided to combine the first three letters of the paternal name (Joseph Meyer will preside the estate from 1933 to 1941) with the family name and creates the Josmeyer brand. Located in Wintzenheim, a wine-growing town close to Colmar, Domaine Josmeyer benefits from an exceptional microclimate and rainfall, which is one of the lowest in France. At the end of the 90s, for the sake of excellence, this vineyard was quickly converted into organic and biodynamic farming. Since 2004 all our wines are certified by the AB logo (organic farming). This other "way" more demanding and more expensive than conventional or reasoned viticulture, allows a better symbiosis between the sky, the earth, the plant and the man. This close relationship between these four elements creates a noble grape which, in turn, will give birth to a dense and balanced wine with a unique personality. This adequacy Sky - Earth - Plant - Man is the result of a conscientious and rigorous work in the vineyard based on 4 essential points.
