The 2015 Chevalier de Lascombes is a delicious second wine from Lascombes. Forward and fruit-driven in style, the 2015 is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its juiciness. Today, the oak is a bit overpowering, but otherwise, this is a solid wine.

Very dark. Not much nose except for a little wood shaving! Unusually sweet start (lots of Merlot?). Then a little drying on the end. Not the most complete and balanced 2015. Though there is some drama. Drink 2019-2026
