The 2009 is one of the greatest wines ever produced from the estate. It has a riveting bouquet of quince, honey, pear and a touch of clarified butter that is beautifully defined, offering scents of yellow flowers with continued aeration. It is a little heavier and more intense than its peers at this stage. The palate is beautifully balanced with perfectly judged acidity and immense purity. The finish offers crisp honey, quince and clementine notes laden with botrytis that is counterpoised by wonderful acidity. It possesses an unerring sense of completeness and composure that is irresistible. Bravo! Drink now-2050.

This is loaded with gorgeous papaya, mango, yellow apple and creamed peach flavours carried by salted caramel, toasted coconut and ginger cream notes. Very long on the finish, this just sails on and on. Showing terrific range and depth, this has a long life ahead of it. Best from 2014 through 2035.-J.M

Superbe de complexité et de raffinement, Suduiraut possède un équilibre quasi parfait entre sa richesse de constitution qui se masque derrière un large éventail de saveurs et une fraîcheur dure à une botrytisation de tout premier ordre. Un des tout meilleurs depuis cent ans au moins ! La robe est encore un peu trouble. Nez intense, superbe de complexité. En bouche, le vin est élégant, avec un milieu de bouche formidable, sans aucune lourdeur, long, de la personnalité. La superbe pourriture noble marque ce vin d’une complexité rare clairement issu de la deuxième trie de début octobre et non du passerillage de septembre.

14% alcohol. 90S, 10SB Despite the comparatively low percentage of Sauvignon Blanc, this is a restrained Sauternes, with impressive freshness and balance for its concentration. Flavours of honey, vanilla pod, banana and peach give this an exotic edge, with residual sugar of 150 grams per litre adding richness to the mid-palate. A wine that will give (slightly guilty) pleasure for years to come. 10+ years.

Intensives Gelb, leuchtender Rand. Geniales Bouquet, fein pfeffrige Orangenschalen, Zitronenöl, Zitronenblüten, helles Karamell, mit berauschendem, aber nur diskret begleitendem Vanillin unterlegt. Am Gaumen perfekt, mit rubenshafter Fülle und doch auch Eleganz, tolles, ausuferndes Fruchtspiel in allen Facetten. Eine derartige Klasse landete früher allenfalls in der Spezialabfüllung namens «Cuvée de la Madame» (auf dem Korken stand jeweils «Crême de Tête»), hier aber nun ist Genialität für jedermann (der sie sich leisten kann). 2015-2080

C'est la deuxième plus importante récolte depuis 2001, avec une acidité plus perceptible qu'en 2005. C'est un vin très minéral au nez, délicieusement fruité et sans lourdeur en finale, malgré une richesse de 160g. Savoureux et de grande liquer, le rôti s'exprime sans hésitation. Une grande réussite du millésime.

Comme en 2008, il brille par sa perfection de constitution et d’élaboration, avec un bouquet transcendant d’éclat dans son fruité, et le sentiment de résumer tout le sauternes et le barsac possible. Égalera-til les légendaires 1899 ou 1928, nous prenons le pari que oui !

One of the outstanding successes of the 2009 vintage, this may surpass the superlative 2007. It has a more understated nose at the moment, but is very well defined with honey, white peach, orange peel and crushed stones. The palate has a viscous entry, is very well balanced, very powerful with great depth and effervescent minerality. Layers of botrytis layer across the mellifluous finish that is beautifully defined and sensuous. Fabulous.

Couleur jaune vert. Nez truffé, botrytisé. Le registre est plus celui du citron que des fruits blancs ou même confits. Entrée en bouche assez grasse et assez liquoreuse. Le vin se développe plutôt épais pour le millésime et manque de cette noblesse fondante. C'est bon, mais d'aspect méditerranéen. Assemblage : 90 % sémillon, 10 % sauvignon - Degré d'alcool : 14° - Sucre résiduel : 150 gr - pH : 3,55.
