Burgundy Pinot Noir "Nature of Ursulines" 2014 - Jean-Claude Boisset

Color: Intense red with garnet reflections. Nose: Aromas of black pepper, blackcurrant, slightly on the leather, quite complex. A slight reduction may be present in his youth. Mouth: We find the black fruits, beautiful length, beautiful finesse. Extracting the quintessence of a generic Burgundy is a real challenge that the Maison Jean-Claude Boisset wanted to raise, with the first wine without sulfite added, a generic Burgundy where nothing is added, nothing is removed. The Pinot Noir owes its fame to its native soil of Burgundy where it is almost the only grape that enters into the elaboration of red wines. The temperate climate of the region suits him, it is not a vine that likes heat and humidity. The Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune thus produce what one can doubtless consider to be the biggest Pinot Noir in the world.

Burgundy Pinot Noir "Nature of Ursulines" 2014 - Jean-Claude Boisset

Son of schoolteachers, Jean-Claude Boisset created his little Maison de Vin at a very young age near Gevrey-Chambertin. He tightens three trumps in his hand: optimism, tenacity and luck. Odlers that quickly jostle his first sales to the international; England, first, then little by little, Europe, and later America. Our mother has always been discreetly present at her side. Links with customers are built around friendship, around wine. Today, present at the important moments of our lives, they remain faithful to this connivance of a young man whose strength of conviction is acquired, for life! We all live this adventure with enthusiasm, and now again the family spirit prevails. The ethics of the Maison Jean-Claude Boisset is in three words: origin, purity, elegance. Origin is the reflection of the terroir in its original expression. It is also the Origin of the appellations linked to the history of Jean-Claude Boisset. Purity, that of the true lines and wines, fruits of the earth. Purity of taste, raw, without oenological addition. Elegance, that of a style of today, anchored in the movement, in the air of time. The distinction. Burgundy, resolutely! Thus bathed in the light of renewal, was born the Collection. Each appellation results from a severe selection and has been produced in limited quantities. In Burgundy, there is this culture, that of the small and the sewn-hand, it is only to look at the vineyard. You will see it at the tasting, the emphasis is on the search for authentic wines, where the hand of man was made as discreet as possible; the wines are concentrated, round, and of course, express their terroir. Man fades, the earth speaks.
