Jamessuckling.com 90 / 100 byJames Sucklingthe1/13/2020 A fruity, easy red with cherry and currant character, medium body and a clean finish. Fine tannins. Second wine of Château Dauzac. Very drinkable now, but better in 2021.
Vinous 84-86 / 100 byNeal Martinthe5/1/2018 The 2017 Aurore de Dauzac has a punchy blackberry and briary-scented bouquet, quite pure in style. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, dark berry fruit laced with black pepper and tobacco with a slightly austere finish that will hopefully flesh out with aeration.
Jamessuckling.com 90-91 / 100 byJames Sucklingthe4/6/2018 This shows very fine tannins with a pretty intensity and focus. Medium to full body. Bright and fresh finish. Currants and cherries character highlights the pure fruit at the end.
