The 2015 Les Pensées de La Tour Carnet, the property's second wine, is a forward, mid-weight red with lovely aromatic presence and good near-term appeal. I would prefer to drink it over the next few years, while the fruit remains bright. The blend is 59% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
