The 2016 Peyrabon has a feminine and pure bouquet with red cherries and wild strawberry fruit. The oak here is present but neatly interwoven with pressed flower notes developing with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy entry. The acidity is nicely judged, although the light structure suggests that this Haut-Médoc will probably drink earlier than many.

The 2016 Peyrabon is a solid Haut-Médoc with good complexity and fine overall balance. Cabernet Sauvignon notes dominate this attractive midweight red. The 2016 is a touch compact, but quite attractive. Drink it over the next handful of years.

Very well judged, this has juicy red cherry fruits, with those ripped Médoc tannins on full display without being at all drying. I really like this, as it has charm, restraint and lift to its signature cassis, cigar and cold ash character. Hard to dislike. Drinking Window 2023 - 2038
