A star of the vintage, this sexy St.-Emilion offers a big, smoky, toasty new oak-scented nose with jammy strawberry and cherry fruit. Low acidity gives the wine a plump, fleshy feel. Medium to full-bodied, gorgeously pure, and attractive, it can be enjoyed over the next 5-6 years.

Outstanding. Aromas of plums, berries, cherries and ripe fruit. Medium- to full-bodied, with a solid backbone of tannins and a long, long finish. Very well done for the vintage. Best after 2000.
