The 2015 Cap St George, now owned by Jean-Philippe Janoueix, has a rich, sexy bouquet with small dark cherries, crème de cassis and dark plum fruit, a little too heady perhaps, but undeniably pure. The palate is dense and quite muscular, a lot of grip in the mouth with plenty of extract, tarry black fruit mixed with black pepper and sea salt, leading to a more refined finish than the nose suggests. Gives this 4-6 years in bottle so that it can absorb those tannins and you'll have a powerful but attractive wine. Drink 2020 - 2040
