Kritt - Pinot Blanc 2016 - Marc Kreydenweiss
The estate is located in Andlau, Alsace, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, in the Piedmont region of the Vosges. Nestled at the foot of the mountains, the vineyard benefits from a continental climate and shares a mosaic of completely opposite soils in their geology: pink sandstone of the Vosges (gc Wiebelsberg), black shale (gc Kastelberg), blue schist (Clos du Val d 'Eléon and Clos Rebberg), and marno-calcaro-sandstone (GC Moenchberg). Marc Kreydenweiss has passed on his passion for wine, terroirs and biodynamics to his children. Antoine Kreydenweiss took over the reins of the Alsatian vineyard in 2007, accompanied by Charlotte, their daughters Zoé, Lilou and Léonie, from the team and his Chevalier Comtois. Together they display the same passion: produce wines with a personality by highlighting the soul of each of its terroirs. The biodynamics applied since 1989 is an integral part of the activities of the estate.
