Le Point 16 / 20 byJacques Dupontthe6/20/2018 Cèdre, fruits noirs, bouche douce, moelleuse avec beaucoup de fraîcheur, longueur et finesse, joli fruit, tendu en finale, pur.
Vinous 88-91 / 100 byAntonio Gallonithe5/15/2018 The 2017 La Fleur Peyrabon is a very pretty, understated Pauillac. Silky, nuanced and gracious, the 2017 has much to offer. Bright floral notes and red-toned fruit are the signatures in this very tasty, affordable Pauillac. What a pretty wine this us.
Vinous 88-90 / 100 byNeal Martinthe5/1/2018 The 2017 Fleur Peyrabon has a slightly tinny bouquet, possibly due to some reduction, the fruit failing to really start motoring. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and here one finally finds the pretty wild strawberries and raspberries laced with minerals and cedar. There is fine delineation on the finish and decent length, completing what should be a fine, lesser-known Pauillac if the aromatics improve during barrel maturation. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
Decanter.com 87 / 100 byJane Ansonthe4/25/2018 Often a good value Pauillac, this shows good personality with a kick of oak toasting, rich cassis fruit and menthol notes. An early drinking wine with punch and direction, and good tannins, Finishes a bit short, but it works. Drinking Window 2022 - 2034
