The 1986 has a dark ruby color, a broad, expansive, forward bouquet of ripe plums, spicy, smoky, new oak, and subtle herbs. On the palate, the wine displays exceptional richness, fine length, and ripeness. While drinkable young, it has the potential to last another 10-15 years. Anticipated maturity: now-2006.
