A restrained, graceful, subtle effort, the 2001 Haut-Bailly exhibits aromas and flavors of black cherries, lead pencil, mushrooms, and earth. Medium-bodied, delicate, and fresh, with lively acidity, light tannin, and a subtle, nuanced personality, it will be at its finest between 2005-2014.
