The Baron de Brane 2013 is a blend of 37% Merlot, 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. It has a light, stemmy but delineated nose that is missing just a little vigour at this stage. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins. This is not pushed too much and the wine works better as a result: enjoyable and easy-drinking Margaux.
